    Excellent beers! The Czech and Dortmunder were amazing. Great neighborhood area brewery in a city with many options, this is definitely one to checkout.

    The American Brown is St. Louis' best beer and was our keg of choice when we were in charge of purchasing beverages for local art shows. The bartenders are friendly and the games are entertaining. Can't wait for the biergarten to open.

    This place is great on a weeknight with friends and colleagues.The service is great, staff is always checking up on you, make sure you're happy with everything, and they're so friendly! Drink orders are taken at the table. Food is ordered and paid for at the counter. The view of the brewery is always a great sight while eating. Music is just loud enough that you can still have a convo and still enjoy the atmosphere.Come for the drinks, come for the food, and come for the good time.

    Finally tried Civil Life after wanting to go for a while, being cash only was a small barrier for us. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they accept credit now (with a $10 minimum). The beer was incredible, it was great to try flavors that aren't available everywhere. The food menu was small but very good. Staff was incredibly friendly and willing to answer any and all question. I will definitely be returning semi-regularly, very positive experience.
