El Tapatio Authentic Mexican Restaurant

First time, only had taco's this visit and they were really good. Will go again for a meal.

El Tapatio has good specials all throughout the week, wonderful margaritas, and the pricing isn't too bad either. Overall, they provide a good authentic dining experience.

It was a quiet Saturday afternoon and I was in need of some Mexican food. I did a quick search and found El Tapatio. The reviews made me want to see what the hype was about.

I was greeted promptly and with a friendly smile. After being seated, my server came to the table and was very friendly. He quickly brought me some chips and salsa as well as my drink. The chips and salsa were pretty much your standard Mexican restaurant chips with homemade salsa. Not outstanding but tasty enough. I knew that I wanted a chimichanga so that’s what I ordered. The chimi came out really quickly which wasn’t too surprising. The waiter warned me that the plate was piping hot so I proceeded with caution. Overall it was very tasty, not greasy and more than I could eat at one sitting. This is a nice place to get some good Mexican eats and I highly recommend giving them a chance.

Great food. They have specials every day of the week so they're almost always packed. The line moves relatively fast though. I recommend coming on a Tuesday (7-8:30) for their awesome margarita specials. Waiters are attentive and fast paced. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.
