Jerk Soul

We had the Judas wings(great flavor, just small) with corn(excellent) and mac n cheese(pretty good). We also had the Jerk steak fajitas(was kinda blah) came with Spanish rice(was a bit hard) and some pico with cheese & flour tortillas! Had a side of Caribbean cabbage(excellent) and the beef patty(great)! Takes a lifetime to get food. Definitely call ahead!

First time there and the food was so good. It was well worth the trip. As a vegetarian, they actually season there food right unlike other places. Good portion sizes and definitely a hidden gem. My new fav.

Of all of the legit restaurants in St. Louis, Jerk Soul is among the most legit. Jerk Soul is unassuming in appearance - it's takeout only. There is no fancy decor, but the food is absolutely amazing and not to be passed on. Simply put, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G on the menu tastes great. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The Hyde Park neighborhood has a lot of potential and Jerk Soul is going to be the cornerstone of its rebirth. Do not sleep on Jerk Soul!

This was my first time trying Jerk Soul and i was not disappointed. I don’t eat meat and found the pasta to be very flavorful and robust. I also got the fried plantains and they were bomb to. The man at the front said that their banana pudding was “life changing” so i wanted to see if he was right... HE WAS! Everything from the service to the food was amazing. Will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We both ordered the Crispy Philly w/cheese fries. It was really good! Fresh and hot. The people who work there are extremely nice. We will definitely be back soon.
