Off the strength of one visit, this place is pretty amazing! The jerk chicken had an excellent char flavor and was tender for such a large quarter. They have the best jerk sauce I've ever had!.. it has some warm "Fall" flavors mixed with sweet heat. The plantains were good, not much else to say. The cabbage had great heat and flavors, far from a boring throw-away side. The coconut flavor in the rice added some more excellece to something that most places are fine with leaving boring. The portions for the price show great value here. It's a carry-out spot, but orders are ready pretty quickly. Definitely give Jerk Unlimited all your business!
I had the oxtail and jerk wings now I'm fat boy happy. About 7 minutes and my food was ready. The to-go containers are great for heating up later. Taste great.
Best Jerk spot in St. Louis. We ordered the curry goat and oxtail dinner with mac n cheese, yams, cabbage, and plantains as the sides. Everything was so flavorful and portioned to perfection. Highly recommend!
Today was my first time visiting this place. When I tell you I WAS NOT disappointed, I was not. OMG!!! My children were pleased with their food as well. Fresh, plentiful, tasty, darn right delicious. I also experienced the Jamaican beer (taste like ginger ale BUT BETTER). I'M trying to upload the pictures so you can see for yourself. I live in north St Louis and I will definitely drive to the south side just to eat there again. Worth the drive.
I had the opportunity to stop in from Atlanta, Georgia and enjoy a meal last year. I got my meal quickly and the Jerk Chicken and sides were amazing. I plan on stopping through on my way to Chicago next month to try the braised oxtails and jerk shrimp.
