Llywelyn's Pub

Stopped in for some late night food and drinks. Did not expect karaoke but that was awesome. Food was great and the bartender was really nice. Will be back soon to ride the free trolley to an up coming Cardinals game.

We went for dinner. My burger was fine. My son ordered fish and chips, which was a little dry but still ok. We did realize after we left that it was supposed to come with mushy peas, which he didn’t get. My husbands Shepard’s pie was very odd. It does say on the menu that it has a mushroom sherry sauce, which is not typical of Shepard’s pie, but it really didn’t work. The most disappointing thing was the atmosphere/service. We were there around 7 on a Thursday. The website does not mention that food is only offered until a certain time, yet the impression our server gave us was that he needed to get us in and out as fast as possible. Also at one point a girl came round (while we were eating our entrees) and took all the salt and pepper shakers. She said “you don’t need those do you?” We won’t go back.

Great pub fare. I've tried just about everything this place has to offer as far as food goes. The pub curry is probably my favorite. They're also really good with large group orders. 12 orders of food for the office and it was done within 30 minutes. Parking can be a bit rough though.

I really enjoy going to Llewellyn's, especially before a Cards or Blues game. The trolley is fun to take to either. They have a good selection of beers on tap and their servers are very accommodating. Plan to get there a little early before a Cards or Blues game, as it can be difficult to get a table. My daughter is also a huge fan of their shepherd pie (and she's pretty picky).
