Great donuts. Fast service. It's tucked away in kind of a semi-creepy hole in the wall, but that somehow lends it a bit of charm.

I don't do donuts, but my kids informed me that these are the best! The staff is awesome here. If you're doing St Louis, do Pharaoh's!

Best donuts in Saint Louis. Although there are those who might be somewhat apprehensive about Pharaoh's due to placement of the shop in a parking garage basement, these incredible donuts should be able to entice even the most harsh of critics.

You can always count on a good selection of classics (Long Johns, Boston Cream, etc) being available for purchase along with some other donut offerings that appear to rotate in and out. There are not wild flavors or creations like you might find at other donut shops around the region, however, the donuts from Pharaoh's don't need to rely on novelty to entice customers to come back time and time again. Prices are very reasonable and the great folks running at Pharaoh's are very welcoming.

This place is the epitome of hole-in-the wall. Maybe only one sign with muted colors advertising its existence nestled among closed buildings. The interior: disarray, disrepair, fluorescent lights and a perpetual haze of heavy, greasy smoke. It looks like someone decided to set up a donut shop in the closet of an abandoned hotel.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE. I was not a fan of sweets or donuts until I had one of their flaky, buttery, perfect basic glazed donuts. They know how to execute a classic. There is literally nothing better in the city than one of their fresh-made, still-hot cinnamon apple fritters. The kind of tasty that makes your whole face tingle.

I legitimately plan on waking up at 7am and eating at least a dozen of these bad boys on my birthday. Also, the staff is just as sweet as the donuts :’)

Good donuts. Some of them are too much for me. As in too much sugar. If that is your thing you have found your place. Some of the more plain donuts were my favorite. Lite and airy.

Definitely a hole in the wall place. In fact it looks like you are walking into a closed business its such a hole in the wall.
