Sams southern eatery St Louis

We usually love the food. The fish was hot and good, but a lot smaller than normal, plus no sauce. We got half the amount of fry than normal. Plus the fries were very old tasting. We didn't eat them. I hope this is not the new normal.

It’s ok. The Philly cheese steak was so so, I like the other places Philly better though. Their chicken nuggets and cheese fries was good. The only real complaint I have is that the meals I ordered didn’t come with drinks, where as at the other places they do.

My first time at Sam's (I was interested because this location was one of my favorite Chinese restaurants and the C19 hit and they were gone also I wanted to try Sam's because it said something about "Southern" eatery) I'm not sure what part of the south but going in there I didn't get that vibe. I only gave 4 Stars NOT for the food but for Zack who waited on us👍🏼 He was very professional, helpful with our product questions, and waited on us patiently. Kudos to Zack✌🏼 However I'm not sure who was cooking but my Chicken tenders, fries, aaaaand hush puppies tasted like they were cooked in old grease and had the burnt remnants of whatever the previous customer's order was 😩🤮 I will give them another chance only because of Zack's professionalism 😁 and just chalk it up that the cook forgot to change out the grease/oil from last year😜🤔

I came to get something to eat on break from work. I ordered the chicken curry and a cheese fry. I left and came back, and opened my food and it was just the chicken curry. I went to my car to get receipt. An show the owner I also ordered a cheese fry. He said no worries it actually was not on receipt hed forgot to add it or charge me so he gave me a huge cheese fry for free. We ate inside the store. An both the cook and owner asked us how we liked the food. So I say 5 stars! Good place! Good service! Good food!!!

First visit. Fast, hot and fresh. Delicious. The young man who served me was kind, attentive and professional. I will be back. Nice job, Sam's
