Everyone was really nice. The chips were very thin, and I love that. The salsa is just about the same you can get everywhere. The main problem I had was there was too much Tumeric in the rice. It tore my stomach up all night. This is the reason I gave only 4 stars.
Nothing but great things to be said about Sunny's Cantina. Under their roof they have it all, great staff, amazing food and drink, pleasant and lively clientele, and even their bathrooms are fancy and clean. I've been to Sunny's a dozen times so this 5 star rating should carry a lot of weight.
My go to favorites are any and all their tacos and the jalepeno margarita. To the tacos, just a fun combination of flavors. Two people can easily split / sample all four and will leave full. The margaritas are NOT made with that overly sweet and syrupy sour mix. Instead, the staff at Sunny's will hand muddle limes ensuring your margaritas are clean and light.
Delicious fresh food and excellent service. Open, casual atmosphere. I recommend the jalapeno margarita and pork carnitas nachos. The steak fries for an appetizer hit the spot and the street tacos are yummy as well. Almost everything is gluten free.
We had dinner at Sunny's before a show and we received fast courteous service. The grilled chicken Fajitas were perfectly done. The rice had a tasty and different take, leaning toward saffron. Our guacamole dip was very fresh and delicious. The Margaritas also have a unique, fresh and tasty with hints of mint and gin flavor.
Overall a casual pleasant experience. We highly reccomend a visit!
