Atmosphere was cool and unique, but service was not great and the food was very poor value, both pricey and disappointing. We had the sashimi platter. That said, the cocktails were very good, so I'd stick to those if you visit.

Hard to find onigiri in St Louis and they do the dish very well. Seaweed salad is stellar. Cocktails can be a little one dimensional but the mocktails are impressive.

Best new hotspot for cocktails! The music is hip and the vibe is cool.

We just loved our visit to Takashima!! We really wanted to try some new drinks that we had not experienced before. Wish granted, and beautifully!! The menu had a good selection of cocktails, sake, beer and wine. The menu also features a (smaller) food menu, with share-able plates like sashimi, onigiri, and other Japanese-inspired flavors. Most of all, we LOVED the atmosphere and live DJ music!! Great music and atmosphere, we could have stayed all night and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for having us!

Visited Takashima on opening weekend. It'll be intriguing to see how this place grows and adjusts over the next few months. A lot of obvious issues with the opening, but I have faith that some of these things will be worked out. Fun cocktails and stellar curation of the music. Would love to see a section emphasizing more of the record label aspect of this lounge. Definitely fun, also pricey. ????
