Had a great time. This was an Opera Theater event. Really enjoyed the food, cocktails & entertainment. Interesting venue

We had the best time and we're entertained to the max, full of great food and slightly buzzed. If u are uptight or prude, don't go. Let the fun people have fun. It was a blast.

Was unsure what to expect. Varying reviews of this event, but the extreme heat required us to abandon our planned outdoor activity.

Venue is an old church basement, now converted to a banquet space and kept up by a US Marines organization. It did feel like a church basement, but it was fine. The movie we were there to see was National Lampoons Family Vacation.

There was just two of us, and originally had us sitting at a table with children (this was not an appropriate movie for children, although I saw it as a child -- much more cursing and sexual content than I recall). We were able to reseat ourselves and ended up with two other couples who were delightful and made the night really fun.

It was 105 outside but discovered when we arrived that the air conditioning was broken. All night they were hoping to have a part delivered to restore it, but that never happened. That said, it was in a basement so it wasn't miserable, and it's a rented venue so not the responsibility of Tenacious Eats.

Food is paired to the movie loosely. We had read complaints that the food was very small portions, and had eaten a small amount before arriving, but this was not the case for our visit. Three courses of tasty food (although difficult to see because of the darkened space). None of it was 'high end', but it was interesting, fun, and tasted plenty good. The dessert was delightful.

The event was really a lot of fun. The trivia, the interludes of Chef Liz talking, the games with prizes -- it was all really enjoyable and memorable.

Next movie is "Goonies", and we're seriously considering attending.

Good fun but a bit unorganized with an intermission lasting about an hour when we were told it would be 15ish minutes. For 75$ plus per person I'd have liked the bar to serve in glasses not plastic. And the food was tasty but not on the level it should have been for the ticket price. I enjoyed them a lot more in the smaller more intimate venue.
