Wow! My family and friends came from California and was introduced to the best soul food and service that we have had in quite a while. The ambiance was incredibleThey really treated us like family and Tavon is truly a great host etc etc. He does a lot. St. Louis you are lucky to have this place ❤❤❤

Whenever I'm in town my Aunt always takes us there. It's like going to the Jazz Club in one of Tyler Perry's Movie's

First of all let me start this review by saying please do not judge this book by its cover! On the outside looking in it looks like another little small restaurant but on the inside it is absolutely the most beautiful place. The decor is absolutely stunning. Now for the service... I know some people have said that they haven't had the best service there but this is my third visit and thankfully every time I am here I have not had a problem with the service whatsoever now I guess I should state for the record every time I have gone the place has not been packed so maybe when it is full others have a different experience. But I can't speak on that but let me tell you what I can speak on... they have their own house tea that is absolutely delicious if you don't drink that tea and love it I don't know what's wrong with you because well it is the Tea. Now I've had a lot of dishes here in everything that I've had here has been absolutely delicious but let me tell you something I think you should know I judge a restaurant especially a soul food restaurant by its macaroni and cheese and if it ain't right you don't ever have to worry about me spending my money at your establishment. I've been here three times plan to go there in two or three more days why? Because that macaroni and cheese is on fire! It truly blessed my soul. Miss Lillian and her staff have something amazing going on here... skip Sweetie Pies this is the place to be.

I ate the meatloaf before I decided that I MUST show this place some love ❤❤ on Google, especially since it doesn't show up in my search results when looking for restaurants near me. Soul food search works, but not restaurant search. Definitely needs to be fixed.!

Best meatloaf I ever had, greens were clean, tender and well seasoned, sweet potatoes were tasty.

The atmosphere has a very New Orleans vibe, the staff are humble and friendly and professional.

I had sit down dinner here with my family a while back and the experience was A1. Cant wait to go back!

Great soul food choices. Warm and friendly staff. The live performances on Friday night were amazing. The brother and sister team sound just like the original artist. Although the food and service are wonderful, the gratuity tax will prevent me and my group from visiting more often. Also, there should not be an extra charge for dessert.
