Urban Chestnut Midtown Brewery and Biergarten

Solid German beers, great change of pace in the craft world. The pretzel board was unique and the butter spread was quite good!

Amazing beer, very friendly staff and the food looked good. Large out door seating area if the weather's good. A must go.

As an out of towner and on the night of game 6 of the Stanley Cup with the Blues with a chance to win it all I kind of expected a half hearted, distracted, service. What we actually got was the complete opposite. We were immediately welcomed as family. Made to feel like favored regulars. The bartender took so much time to chat with us and tell us about the area. Even going so far as to write us a pretty huge list of his favorite spots around town. I'd love to call him out by name but I don't want to risk him getting in trouble for sending customers to other establishments. But because of him, Urban Chestnut will be on my list to reccomend to anyone that asks me what the best spots in town are. The picture on this review is the list he gave us. I love the menu! The staff is always super friendly. I have had a problem with getting someone on the phone on multiple occasions to place a to-go order on my 30 min lunch break.

Pretty good place for some beers and German food. If given a choice I highly recommend choosing the one further west since that one is slightly larger a better atmosphere. Great place for some good times though.
