Urban Fort Play Cafe

We go here about 2x a month. Clean facilities and very friendly staff. The food and lattes are stellar. Their egg sandwich is mouth watering. We like the new outside sandbox and water table they recently installed. My 3 year old loves it. We can easily spend 3 hours here. Near Layfette Park so we usually swing by there on nice days too.

Great atmosphere, great food. My kids love playing in the kitchen area, and my toddler spent literally an hour at the train table. Staff is excellent. Will come back again and again.

This place is amazing for both kids and parents. There are train tables, books, a slide, a climbing wall, and a multitude of other toys for kids to play with. In addition, there are lots of places for parents to sit and keep an eye on their kids while still relaxing a little. The cost to get in is minimal for the value, and you might even catch a half price day to make it even sweeter. The cafe section also has delicious food options at reasonable prices. I can't recommend this place enough as a great indoor play option for the days when the weather does not cooperate.

Tried this place for the 1st time. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old and both had so much fun. I like that the layout is pretty open, that means I was able to see my four year old from anywhere in the main play area. It is a good place to go if you are not wanting to hover over your kids the whole time. I did go in the evening and there weren’t too many other kids there. Just enough for my son to have people to play with but not so many kids that it was chaotic. Food and drinks were delicious. I will certainly be back.

Urban Fort is an awesome spot for a birthday party! We rented the entire space for our sons’ party and the kids had a blast. The private party package is well worth it!! It is rare to find a good birthday venue that closes for private parties. I cannot think of any spot more accommodating for kids to freely play and adults to freely adult.
