    Worth the drive. About 70 minutes south of St Louis. Large selection of wine. Property is expansive. Food allowed to be brought in.

    We loved the place, wine was good, pretty atmosphere. But the reason for 3 stars is their CRAZY stemless glasses! They were "wobble glasses"; yes they supposedly can't wobble but won't tip over. NOT! They are smooth and rounded on the bottom and slide easily. If you have them full, they WILL tip over and they slid. We had 2 spills, and ended up having to hold our glass consistently - so wine got real warm. I think they were supposed to be novel and unique, but they are useless. I would recommend either asking for a plastic cup, or bringing a broad based glass. No wonder they were free - we left ours there!

    ASK FOR STEVE! Very patient bartender and knowledgeable about the wine. Awesome place; awesome setting, great wine!
