The food was delious. We were the last customers of the year.
We will go back when it re-opens.
The owner is very sweet. We had fun talking with her.
The Gavitts.
Hand made pizza . Has German food but not at this time being off season and probably because of covid.
A nice German restaurant miles from town. They were able to accommodate our party of 16. We knew it was a small restaurant so we ordered ahead of time, and requested the view outside. I liked the Jager schnitzel and enjoyed the German beer and chocolate cake, but having the view and family atmosphere there was a bonus.
The view was beautiful and it was a little cool so we sat in the sun on the deck. We had the pretzel with cheese and mustard for an appetizer and all 4 enjoyed it. Loved the brat with red cabbage and German potato salad. The food was very good and freshly made. The wait for our order was a bit long but sit back with a beer or glass of wine and enjoy the view and good company.
As far as I can tell, this is a hidden gem in Branson. We got out of our car and just gasped over the million dollar view of the lake and the dam. We watched the sun set and the moon literally rise over the ridge. We met the owner, who is from Germany. If you want some authentic German, this is the place. The pizza looked and smelled amazing but we stuck to German. The service was attentive without
being intrusive. Regarding Covid restrictions: We were seated far apart but the staff did not wear masks. Would definitely recommend!
