“I recently ordered a tray of Thunder Muffins. Despite the distance, over 1,200 miles, they arrived within a couple of days moist and fresh. Wow were they tasty!! I would recommend anyone to give Persimmon Farms a try no matter where they live. I'm located in southeastern Pennsylvania and am planning on making Thunder Muffins a regular habit. “Stopped here for lunch and some fuel. This is a great part of the lake! So calm and pretty! Our family stopped for lunch here. I had a burger which was great, one kid had grilled shrimp which was very fresh and tasty, the other kid had chicken fingers which were pretty good and my wife had fried shrimp which were really great. The hushpuppy was awesome! We loved sitting on the dock having lunch. Lots of bluegill and turtles come up beside you. We really enjoyed our lunch and will certainly be back!”

“Excellent restaurant. Good service. Good food. Got the snow crab legs. Was a little disappointed at the quality, many of the legs were so tiny you couldn't get any crab out of them. BUT the crab I could get was very good and the price was reasonable for what I got. This place has steaks, burgers, chicken and all is home cooked, good food at a reasonable price. We drove almost 2 hours to get there so that says a lot. They have 3 locations and all are terrific. Not a quiet place but it is a fun one!”

“We just moved to Crane earlier this year and it's not a bad lil town. Hickory Grove Cafe is by far one of our favorite places to eat in the area. I love their catfish. In my opinion it's right up there w a very popular spot on the water about 20 minutes away. The firehouse burger is another one of my favorites.”

“My family and I were looking to explore Table Rock Lake. We booked an RV Rental to be set up at Cape Fair Camp Ground. Since we had our three dogs with us I searched ahead of time for activities they could do with us. I came across this marina restaurant that said they allowed dogs on the patio. I planned this as one of our activities. When we arrived at the Cape Fair Camp Ground and located our camping spot, we right away noticed this The Dock Side Cafe literally inside the campground. I had no idea it was that close. We quickly walked the Marina with our dogs and came across the general store, pet friendly boat rentals, ice cream parlor, and cafe. Everyone was so nice to our very large pets, especially the owners that quickly greeted them and made sure they had water available. The food was amazing! Very large portions and many items to choose from. This made our stay at the camp ground a very easy one. We were able to get everything we needed, eat amazing dinners, treat ourselves to sweet treats, and rent a boat for play all while bringing our fur babies with us! If you love your puppies as much as we do, this marina makes for a great vacation.”

“Had the backyard burger and split it with wife, just as we did last time. Fries were good as usual. The burger was as big as before, but the taste was off. The bottom bun got too soggy and the brisket was too smokey. This is normally a very good burger but have to rate it as a 3 this time”
