Pop A Dogs

How good can a hot dog be you say? I say you haven’t eaten a hot dog like this. The food was excellent, nice presentation and the service was excellent and friendly. We had lunch today, October 26. I had the chili dog and hubs had the German dog and cotton candy soda. Both dogs were very tasty and well seasoned. And to boot, the owner supports the local animal shelter and your pup is welcome.

This place was amazing! The man working today, I believe was the owner. He was so nice!! And so helpful! Please go give them a try! Hoping we get to go back before we head back to Louisiana.

Four stars because of the friendly staff and you can tell the cook is passionate about what he does. These aren't your standard hotdogs nor the standard PRICE, but it's something different to try for sure. Seating indoor and out. Tons of pop options. 50s 60s vibe and music. Good buns too. Not sure I'll go back though. Check out the menu I uploaded.

My Fiancé and I stopped in after seeing the cute sign and were intrigued. When you walk inside you have a moment of awe to look at the shelf on shelf of Soda Pop (Soda where we are from)!! So many brands from small businesses’ of the same types of sodas. You will definitely find the kind you like. Not to mention how many different gourmet hot dog options they have!! After speaking with the owner it was found that they hand make EVERYTHING except the hotdogs (and soda pop) themselves!! The Mac and cheese was my side dish and it was, absolutely without a DOUBT, the best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had. I’m a trained Chef, and even I have never made Homemade Mac and Cheese that good. The hot dogs were absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family! I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!!

We were looking for a spot for lunch and noticed this spot on the drive by and stopped. The atmosphere was way better than what we expected. One long wall is covered in different choices of exotic sodas. Their menu has more choices than are available, but they had just opened a day before we went so it was understandable. The wait for food was fairly long, but they are still figuring stuff out. The food was amazing. The hot dogs themselves were very high quality as were the toppings. They aren't cheap, but it comes with enough that it is definitely worth it. We got our food to go, and had a little difficulty differentiating the dogs. Would like to see the dogs get labeled in some way as it would be very helpful.
