(December 17, 2020, 2:59 pm)Had a great evening at the restaurant here at big Cedar Lodge. Started with a corn bread appetizer that was over the top. It was drizzled in honey and small chunks of bacon. Very large appetizer that was actually too much for two people. Seared Atlantic salmon with risotto was incredible. Service was good although they were not really practicing social distancing. It looks like it was at full capacity. They did take temperatures before you came in.
My wife had the chicken fried steak which was also very large portion and very good. Definitely recommend this place -

(September 15, 2020, 5:20 am)This was our second time going to Devil’s Pool and we absolutely loved it! We were downstairs in the Buzzard Bar and it was really nice. I got the buttermilk fried chicken strips and fries, and a cup of the potato soup. The chicken was excellent and the honey glaze it came with added a nice kick. The potato soup was rich, hearty and absolutely delicious. My parents got the turkey burger and Cobb salad and loved them. During our first visit I had Dorothy’s Stuffed Chicken Supreme and it was some of the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life! The atmosphere at Devil’s Pool is one of a kind, world class, elegant, rustic, and beautiful. The service is of the highest caliber and excellence. If you ever stay at Big Cedar or you’re just driving through the Ozarks, Devil’s Pool is a must to visit! You will definitely be glad you stopped in. Also, the outside landscaping and walking paths around the restaurant are beautiful and worth the time to explore. Beautiful views of Table Rock Lake!
