(February 22, 2021, 8:56 pm)My wife and I stopped in on our way home from Springfield, and the food is great, service great and the prices are very affordable. We live just out of Houston, Mo. but it is worth the travel time to come up there again. Really more than just satisfied, it is a great place with down home atmosphere and food, and you feel relaxed and appreciated. And thank you for all the good pictures on the wall of who should be president, John Wayne.

(December 30, 2020, 3:50 pm)This was a great country cafe with home cooking and large portions! Hubby and I shared the chicken fried steak dinner and my daughter took home most of her catfish dinner for lunch the next day! Papa ordered the half size of open faced roast beef and mashed potatoes and still took some home! Great hometown friendly service. We wished we would had bought the huge homemcinnamon roll for $1.39 to eat for breakfast!
