This steak house was solid but failed at a key point. I want my steak rare. I get it if at a cheap chain they may miss. BUT At an expensive steakhouse they should nail the way I want it! They swing and missed. It was medium rare to medium. Strike!! The Elk was good but would have been better if cooked correctly. Other things were hits. Dualing shrimp were excellent appetizers. My beef and bison soup was excellent. Side salad was solid though they were cheap on the crumpled blue cheese. Garlic mashed potatoes were ok. Service was excellent!
I really enjoyed our visit to Jake's. The service was great! Helpful and friendly and accommodating. The location was great, about 2 blocks from our hotel. My only issue was my burger, was so hungry for a burger, was cooked well done so it was kinda dry. I didn't think to order it medium and it might be their policy to cook hamburger meat well done. Other than that, my meal was delicious. My friends were both very happy with their meals. Our dirty martinis were perfect. I would definitely go back!

the food was delicious. i had the filet mignon & my boyfriend had the bison medallions. both were cooked perfectly & had such great flavor. we had the potstickers for an appetizer, they were yummy but i didn’t love the sauces they came with though.. we also had the apple cider bourbon and a glass of wine- both super tasty! erin was our server & she was personable and very attentive. will definitely go back 😊
The food was amazing, and our server, Matias, was superb! We ordered the chef's special with an 8 oz steak, roasted carrots with hollandaise sauce, French onion soup, and the Halibut Caprese. We also enjoyed the Drop Bar & Campfire Margarita.
