Gorat's Steakhouse

The food and service is great..You may have to wait for orders if there at lunch..Very busy place and cool interior furnishings..Comfortable and wheelchair accessible..Nice bathrooms and very friendly waitresses and wait people..Some items are a bit expensive but after all, it is a steakhouse..Lunch and dinner specials and salads of all kinds..They have fish and all kinds of proteins if not in mood for steak..Steaks are terrific!! Sides are wonderful!! Homey yet could be a romantic spot too..Reservations may be best bet on special occasions but you can walk in too..Casual attire and great for business lunches also..Super popular and worth every penny ..Enjoyable from first bite to last..Wish I lived closer so I could frequent it..

Went here for Valentine's day dinner. Delicious! Perfect for a classier date night. Very old school steakhouse, but carries its own charm. Lovely staff and they work hard to make sure you're satisfied. Loved my steak. It was just a bit cold when it came out. But it was insanely busy so I understand.

Our visit to Gorat's was over all a pleasant one. I want to punctuate that we had great service throughout. We started with some onion rings(Very good). Then we had our salads. After eating those and waiting for a few minutes the waitress came over and told.us our food would be about 10 min longer because our order came right after a big table. To us that was no big deal. We were not in a hurry and were enjoying our date night. Our main course finally came out and even though we each had asked for "medium" both of our steaks were extremely rare. Long story short, they took care of it. No questions. The steaks we ate after they were re-made were phenomenal. Excellent. And they offered us a free dessert for our troubles and it too was delicious.

Pro tip:they have a happy hour that ends at 6 p.m. and it is 50% off most appetizers excluding the seafood.

Service was friendly but did not hit all the points of service.

The meal comes with bread service where it is served warm. It is also served with butter that is not frozen solid.
We really liked the green beans (we were surprised) and the beef tenderloin ($30) flavoring was on point. We ordered the hash browns because we were told it was warren buffets go to. We thought they were good but not amazing.

For appetizers we ordered the tater tots and the toasted ravioli. They were good but I would not be in a rush to re order them.

We asked about the desserts at ended up choosing the blueberry crumble.it was good but it did not resemble a crumble and more a bread pudding with a touch of coffee cake texture.
