Red Lobster

I First went to a Red Lobster on my honeymoon in 1972 and have gone as often as I could ever since. Until recently.
The serving size of a lot of the dishes has diminished, which is not a bad thing in itself. The problem begins when the cost of an entree has risen quite a lot while the item has lost half a lobster tail and scallops and even half the noodles in the case of the Bar Harbor bucket. It went from bucket to big deep bowl over time. Now it's a plate!
The food tastes good and the local restaurants in Omaha and Lincoln appear clean. The staff are terrific in each, although I go at their calmest times so I don't know about how things are when they are busy.
The bar is great. One can still get drinks which haven't been on the menu for years, like the Coffee Nudge.

Now for why I can't give a high rating: the swordfish was very dry, less than half the size of fish as the last time I'd had it, and the usually great soy ginger sauce was so strong I avoided it after the first bite. At least the sauce was on the side and not on the fish.

Sorry, Red Lobster. I know you can't please everyone. Your new menu is very pretty. And those Long Islands are wonderful.

They have the best Seafood! I've been there many times & usually get their fresh Trout... Delicious! This time friends took me for my birthday & I got Lobster & Crab's Legs! They were wonderful! ???? Plus, they gave me a little sundae for my birthday! Everyone was very nice & we all had a great time! ????

Just had a great meal! The food was delicious! And I want to shout out specifically to Destiny! We eat out a lot and have had every level of service and Destiny is the best server we’ve had in a VERY long time! Please let her know!! We will be back and requesting Destiny!! We own a business and know how important and wise it is to take good care of those exceptional employees especially when they’re so hard to find! Thanks again!!

Dinner was literally perfection, as was our server, Rebecca D. She was on top of our every need without being too much. She also had a table of regulars come in and knew every single one of their names. The GM (I assume) stopped by our table to wish us a good night). Will gladly return for special occasions again.
