I’m a Las Vegas resident. Thought I should do this before Lake Meade reverted back to the Colorado River. Went on the midday cruise. Enjoyed it for the view of the twisted geology of Black Canyon & the decreasing water level view of Hoover Dam architecture. Met some interesting ‘tourists.’ My advise: wear a hat, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt, and long pants. The sunlight is brutal out here. Enjoy.

You need to pay the national park fee to get in the park. But other than that surprise fee, our trip was fantastic. The staff was great, food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. Overall great experience. We will be coming back with friends, this will have to be part of our hoover dam experience from now on.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The recorded narration was informative and engaging. All the staff were helpful, courteous, and clearly enjoy their jobs. Highly recommend this cruise if you have a couple hours to spare at Lake Mead!

(I do not give this place five stars just no one reads any reviews that aren't five stars although I wouldn't give it one either). We showed up after spending several hundred dollars on the fastest boat on the lake, which was reserved months prior. On arrival we were told that we would need a boating license to go out on the lake, which is fine had that have been communicated when the boat had been reserved. However, this was not told to anyone until arrival.
