Chef Piero's Roma Kitchen

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the menu features both classics and specialty dishes. The food and service were both excellent. Great place for an Italian dinner. Extensive wine list.

Nice little family place. The portions are generous, glad my wife and I decided to split a salad.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim and was very impressed!

Pros:
- Service was outstanding. Friendly, timely, attentive, knowledgeable, professional.
- The quality of the ingredients and produce were extremely fresh. Lively acids in the tomatoes; crisp, vibrant greens.
- Even with the bread, the quality was superb. Nice thick, flaky crust with points for a healthy crumb and cell structure.
- Generous portions, very reasonable prices.
- A well-constructed wine list. Some fantastic selections and a bit of a surprise.

Cons:
- The fare was great but would have been elevated with additional seasonings. Basic component additions to the marinara that might have been welcome: fennel, garlic, basil (the basil quality in-house is already tremendous, definitely make use of it more!), a generous grind of salt and/or black pepper, maybe crushed red pepper.
- The atmosphere was very plain. This doesn't particularly matter to me, but may detract from the date-night diners' interest.

Overall: I got the impression that this is an establishment that truly cares about the quality of their food and dining experience, which is an increasingly rare philosophy. I will happily return to support them and will encourage others to do so as well. A pass over the menu with an eye towards opportunities for improvement would be welcome, but is far from essential.

Piero's is one of the finest Italian restaurants in Las Vegas for something casual or for dinner! He's been in town for many years! Just so happy he's back here in Henderson (our side of town)! We are thrilled! Love him and his delicious food!!!

The food was outstanding. I had chicken Parmisan and there were two very large pieces of meat with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese. It came with fresh green beans which I truly dislike because no one knows how to cook them, but these were cooked perfect with a wonderful flavor. The cheesecake was to die for. Not even the cheesecake factory comes close. The only problem I had was the waiter forgot our bead and blamed his mistake on another person. He was kinda spacey even tho he was very nice. Also very pricey but worth the amount of food.
