“I moved here from Chicago 3 years ago and had yet to find a REAL Chicago style pizza, until one night at chase bank at the ATM machine I saw a man with a Chicago Bears hat and a Chicago Bears shirt, so being from Chicago I asked him are you from Chicago or just a Bears fan which opened up some conversation. During the conversation I made a joke about how Vegas knows how to mess up a pizza, and this man named Mike said I own a pizza place down the street, you should try it out I’ve got the “best pizza in town”. Now I had been told that many places had the best pizza by many people and I tried them all and was always disappointed until I tried Another Slice of Chicago. “This is just an average place with sandwiches with an average taste. Not amazing, but no terrible. Pricing is fair, but then again I wasn’t “wowed” with anything about my pastrami sandwich. Having experienced some of the best pastrami from Jewish deli’s, I was underwhelmed. I think corporate chains forget what made them famous and take their eye off the ball, quality wise. And it shows. I’ll come back if I’m in the area and need a quick bit. But I would never go out of my way to find them again.”

“If you want an excellent pizza - a slice or a whole one - this is the place to be. Theirs is a New York style thin crust which requires two hand support unless eaten from a plate. I usually get the large Hawaiian style, and it's covered quite nicely with Canadian bacon and pineapple ???? chunks. A friend of mine solves the flexible crust problem by folding his slice in half longways so it won't bend and eats it that way. Sunset Horizon has a large menu, so it's going to be a while before I can eat my way through it. There are many specials to choose from, either dine in and/or carry out. The large pizza is 16", I believe, and the carry out box is too big for the garbage can! The staff is friendly and helpful. The last time I was there, another customer recommended in glowing terms his favorites to me. So if you're on Horizon Ridge Parkway just west of Arroyo Grande and hunger strikes, take the first driveway into the strip mall and travel a short ways west, and there you are. It's on your right, next to a large cleaners and a brand new French bakery that was in the process of preparing to open. (But that's another review when it does!)”

“Our absolute favorite pizza joint on the east side of Vegas Valley. They have a SUPER SIZED pizza that we ordered thinking it was a normal big pizza. The pie was in a box that required me to put down my seats in back of my Kia Soul to transport it home. It takes 2 people to carry, and is worth every last cent. Everything I've tried from these guys has been phenomenal. 10/10 highly recommend”
