Very high quality ingredients and non-frilly menu which I love. Person working at the counter was nice. I ordered a Cobb salad and grilled cheese and they were better than you would expect (especially for the price) but a random guy’s bahn mi sandwich smelled so good from several seats away that I know what I am getting when I come back. Of course the beer from Able Baker was fantastic but this addition to the brewery is great because sometimes breweries have weird or overly expensive food and this place was nice and I liked the general theme of “street food”. I don’t know why I am saying this but they seem like they need a wiener schnitzel sandwich on the menu or bratwursts with beer cheese or some sort of German street food because they seem like they would do a good job of it. I can’t wait for the surrounding neighborhood to grow more businesses so there’s more foot traffic around and reason to be in the neighborhood.
Whatever kind of food you're feeling, Arts District Craft and Kitchen has it. From Asian fusion (vietnamese sandwiches), honey bbr or garlic wings, hot chicken sandwich, to burgers to fish tacos and Mexican inspired elotes corn chips and salsa. Can't go wrong with any item on their menu. If you're vegetarian, they have salad options and Impossible burger as well
ADC & K is located inside Able Baker Brewing with a walk-up counter. You simply order and pay they'll give you a ticket stand number to place on table order will be brought to you. A limited menu cover snacks, burger & sandwich, and mini me (small portion) item. They have six type of banh mi to choose from with pork belly being as most popular USD$11. Service is good except I didn't know that it was a separate entity from ABB, you have to pay at separate counters and you can't add to your beer tab. That explains why no one ask if I wanted something to eat, but that's no biggie I went ahead and got fried chicken sandwich.
First thing I notice was the top bun, it was shiny lightly toasted bottom with brownish edge typical of being on grill and I absolutely like this method. Fried chicken was tasty and moist, however it was difficult to eat due to the thickness of sando itself then soggy bun due to wet cabbge not fully rinse out. Even the slice of tomato wasn't ripen yet and I understand sometimes you can't get perfect produce, but slice it thinner might do the trick for this sando. Not a bad place moderately price and quick-service with good selection of food to compliment my beer is all the reason I'll be back.
