Delicious food. The seafood tacos we tried were really tasty. Prices were reasonable.
My wife and I both agree that we would like to dine here again on our next visit to Las Vegas.
Just moved to the area and pass this place everyday on the way home so i decided to try it for the first time. Not too big of a place with a few tables and couple bar areas. What it lacks in space it makes up for in cleanliness, service and food quality. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. Ordered way too much because I wanted to sample a little bit of everything. Highly recommend.
We went for lunch today. One ordered shrimp soup, good, and my wife and I shared tacos: 2 carne asada, a marlin,a grilled shrimp and a spicy octopus. First, these are not street tacos; they're full blown tacos in a standard size corn tortilla, fried to firmness, not crispy, and generously filled. My only problem with the seafood tacos was an excess of their aioli and chipotle sauce, which buried the flavor of the seafood. I'd order them with sauce on the side next time.
Another issue I have, is that no sides come with the tacos. Everything is ala carte. There is no salsa, other than a thin, mild habanero/lime sauce and a tomatillo sauce. The rest are your standard bottled sauces, i.e., Tapatio and another generic red sauce
The service was good, the food is prepared to order and the portions are generous and justify the price. The best taco I had was the carne asada, which came without the aioli and chipotle sauces. I'll go back, but order cautiously. Didnt try the fish because all the fish, except marlin is tilapia, which is a little mild for me.
We had no idea exactly to expect this was our first visit. Bajamar is a small sitdown restaurant they serve beer and wine good ones too. The staff very friendly and patient had a ceviche tostada really good. I think I found something really good we will go back soon.
This is one of the best restaurants in town!! And is the best Mexican seafood restaurant in town! Not only will you not be disappointed you will be addicted. Go there now! I am.
