As others have said, the food here is very good and the spices are on point. I could feel the heat but still enjoy the flavor. I ordered a good amount of food and ate everything. Highpoints were the jerk wings and the yucca fries, and the meal came with a nice variety of delicious sauces. The wings were juicy and addicting. Didn't care too much for the grilled chicken sandwich. It was a bit on the dry side and pretty small for the price. Overall a nice experience and would definitely come back with a group. Lisette was patient, friendly and provided excellent service.
I had the jerk chicken dark. It was amazing & full of flavor. The macaroni was okay. We waited in there for about 50 mins before our order was taken & about another hour before the food came out. We asked the 1 server helping ALL the tables "where is all the help" she replied "in the back doing a photo shoot". We started seeing champagne bottles, photographers & lots of girls in little bitty shorts coming from the back, as if they was partying. I didn't mind the shoot, but maybe a different time would have been better, and not at noon when most restaurants get there busiest.
I had to share my experience today September 24 2021, 6 PM. They must have a new cook because the ox tails , and white jerk chicken was cooked to perfection. Cabbage, rice and macaroni and cheese was fresh. Unlike my previous experience about two months ago. They are still definitely overpriced 65$ total for two entrees. But I can tell they have a new cook and I’m actually enjoyed the food tonight
Our group waited over an hour for our order; having been told that there were catered items that took priority. Nothing was offered to make-up for this. The manager was attitudinal when told that one of the dishes was under-cooked, and offered nothing to compensate for that, either. Although the spinach was good and flavorful, the long stems were left on it, and I nearly choked on some of it, and had to reach into my mouth to pull the stems out of my throat.
