Cajun Mouth Restaurant

I have lived in this part of town for 15 years. We have no shortage of great mom and pops, and this just adds to the list! Plus, we didn't have anything like Cajun, and this is welcome.

The Po Boy and Cajun fries were great, and I was plenty full. No skimping. Was in a hurry so got take-out, but they have an ample dining room that looked comfortable.

This is a big place. The interior was clean, bathroom was also clean. You don't find many restaurants with clean bathrooms. I had the fish, oysters and shrimp combo. They also gave me a taste of their seafood gumbo. Everything was great, the spices in the gumbo was excellent.

Food is great and thats the gumbo, the Marci Gras pasta, the hot wings and the catfish.
So glad we were told to go here.

I ate to much and didn’t want to stop.

Definitely filling Louisiana meals served with true down-home southern hospitality! Loved hanging out and eating there! 💜💛💚
We tried out the fried pickles, cajun hot wings, gumbo (16 oz), shrimp poboy, catfish poboy, alligator bites, and hot sausage poboy with cheese! None of these meals disappointed!

Good food and amazing service. I got the Cajun Chicken Wings and my boyfriend got the Catfish platter with dirty rice, and it was So. GOOD!!!!! The wings weren’t too spicy which was great since I really can’t handle much spice. And the fries I got as a side for them were so deliciously seasoned. The staff was also so sweet and friendly, super kind to my boyfriend and I, as well as the family that came in after us. The interior was also super cute and well designed. Very clean too. Overall, amazing experience. Would definitely come again.
