CALL ME CAKE SOUL FOOD

This food is the real deal for southern food. Its AMAZING, 100% homemade from scratch. I ate here for ths 1st time Friday when visiting from California. My Mom told me about this restaurant. I'm originally from Geogia and this is just like the home cooked food I grew up with. The greens were the best I ever ate as well as the Southern Fried Chicken. The collard greens had a perfect amount of mild heat. Everything I ate was amazing and all from scratch, the blackened peas, potato salad, greens, cornbread, and Chicken This is my new favorite place to eat when I visit my Mom.

Great soul food spot. Everything I have had here is great. But I was shocked as to how good those cakes are. That banana pudding cake is off the chain!!! Please try it.

Very nice quaint place tucked away and was ideal for where I needed to be an hour later. Also had for dessert very vanilla cake and caramel eyes. The catfish was delicious and sides greens and yams with cornbread yummy. Our waiter was very attentive and was pleasant to interact with. It received a 4 out of 5 because the chicken needed a tad more seasoning with the waffles. Both desserts are mouth watering and a must have. Will definitely be back.

I always love coming here. I know that the restaurant is clean, the service is always on point and the cakes are the best. I've never had a bad flavor. This time was my first trying the mac n cheese and I wouldn't recommend that particular side. Everything else is A1 though. Compliments to the chef ????
