Cartel Takos

It's in a food court so didn't expect exceptional food. Had the carne asada nachos, they were good but not great. Not disappointed with the price or taste but the meat was just slightly warm and I would have liked them more if the meat was hot. They had shredded cheese that wasn't melted and the cheese sauce was watered or milked down. Milk makes it runny, makes it go further as far as amount of servings, but reduces the cheese flavor.

Damn good chamonga! What i loved about this restaurant was that they had interesing items on the menu that ive only seen in mexico. I ordered the chamonga which is cherimoya ice cream 🍦 topped with chopped mango and doused in a mild hot sauce. Legit! The carne asada tacos where done Mexican style: chopped onion and cilantro only. The complimentary hot sauce is hot! 🔥 🔥 🔥.

First time customer review! Wonderful place, and the people there work hard. My wait was worth it, so gain patience if you don't have it now! I ordered "Carne Asada Fries". I always get beef, so I switched it up this time and ordered "Al Pastor" (marinated pork); delicious, and slightly overwhelming. I tend to forget the size portions when I order this at other places, so color me surprised when I picked up my order! If this is your meal of choice and you're not drained from hunger, consider sharing half of your fries with another person. I know, I know! Sharing fries?!?! But you may not be able to finish it in one sitting. Just consider it, okay? Anyway, tip always, eat your meal and of course, have a great day and night after that! Then visit Cartel Takos again when you're shopping at the Fashion Show Mall. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Delicious street tacos and dessert! Had Carne asasa, al pastor, and chicken tacos along with carne asasa fries. Authentic Mexican flavor. Probably should have saved some more room for the churro sundae because it was too good to put down. I'll definitely be stopping by there again!
