Upscale Mexican cuisine. Read their attire requirements. Let's start with how beautiful is this place and fun upbeat music to match the atmosphere. Service is always professional and fast. Food is great. Our favorite, Angus beef tacos. Don't make a mistake of ordered to share. Chicken enchiladas are great too. Obsidian margarita has so much flavor and just a tab of spice but not spicy. Churros are to die for. They come with two different chocolates, ritch dark and almost syrupy milk I assume with the sides of nuts for dipping. Their famous dessert ball on fire is fascinating to watch but honestly nothing to write home about. A fun place to take your guests in town too.
Casa Playa is really well done! I had to come here to let everyone know. The food is great, atmosphere is a nice change, very relaxed setting inside. One of my favorites was the Tuna Tartare! The complimentary chips come with three amazing salsas and if you’re a chip connoisseur like me you want to know the thickness of the chips- well- they’re on the thick side, but you don’t come here for the chips. Gourmet Mexican can be done and Casa Playa does it right, many compliments to the chef! Honestly this might be my new favorite restaurant!
Food was very good and came out quickly. Would recommend getting the short rib as I personally think it was the best item on this menu. Would not recommend getting the churros or chocolate taco if allergic to nuts. Ambience and lighting was great and had a great vibe. Would definitely go again.
This is a very upscale Mexican restaurant located within the Wynn hotel. If you really want to eat there make sure you get reservations ahead of time. It is pretty pricey, and the entrées and appetizers were decent. I got the enchiladas but wasn’t impressed. The presentation of the food and the ambiance are very nice. Customer service is excellent. The chips and salsa were my favorite. They were made from fresh corn and did not taste oily. Overall it was good.
For the first time, an upscale restaurant with authentic Mexican food! That's super rare! Loved everything except for the beans, but some people might like them, I'm just really picky with beans. Few places have good beans. Other than that, food was amazing, vibe was gorgeous and servers were awesome! A must go restaurant in Vegas!
