We have been to Chef Kenny's twice to dine-in. We also ordered takeout via phone one time during COVID-19. Even though I am still not sure what I am eating, we had fantastic experiences every time. If you are looking for Asian vegan food, this is the spot to go to.

    COVID-19:

As of June 2020, Chef Kenny's offers dine-in and take-out. They set up a table next to the host stand to prevent people from walking into the restaurant without first speaking to the host. They sit people at every other table and the staff members wear disposable gloves. It seems they are doing a good job of keeping everyone safe.

    SERVICE:

The staff is exceptionally friendly and constantly scurrying throughout the restaurant to be as quick as possible. The sincerity the staff exudes is reason enough to come back.

    FOOD:

Cilantro salad is light and refreshing, but simultaneously very flavorful.

Crispy oyster mushroom resembles Outback's bloomin onion. The batter is flavorful, but you can still taste the mushroom. We have ordered this dish on three occasions. One time, it was overly salty, but the first two times it was perfect.

Salt and pepper shrimp looks and tastes like shrimp. This dish took me by surprise and really impressed me.

Chilean sea bass does not look like fish, but definitely resembles sea bass in its texture and taste.

Curry duck has a light crunch and rich flavor. I enjoyed the duck a lot, but have no idea why it comes with curly fries. Vegan or not, since when does an Asian duck dish come with fries? I admit I still ate the fries, but when I did, I seriously thought I might be on a hidden camera show.

Medium rare steak roll does not come with any rice. However, it is impressive. It made me think of an Asian flavored meatball.

Jack fruit roll has a nice citrus flavor and satisfies a sushi roll craving!

Pho lacks the depth of a traditional pho, but maintains the rich broth flavor. I love the thin noodles, which are soft and easy to eat. The toppings reflect traditional pho regarding texture, taste, and look.

    ALL-STAR DISHES:

Cilantro salad and crispy oyster mushroom.

    TIP:

    Use the Groupon.

There was a little wait when we went on a Sunday night, but it wasn't too long. Staff was friendly and Chef Kenny was there!
The food was so good. We ordered a lot and everything came out pretty quick. Some highlights included the tuna and salmon nigiri - the consistency was on point! Spicy cajun shrimp was really tasty! House chow fun was good too! And the hot and sour soup was one of the best I've tried.

This place is AMAZING! The food is delicious. I'd recommend the chocolate milkshake, walnut shrimp, and medium rare steak roll. Those three were my ABSOLUTE faves. But aside from the food, the servers were very kind, open, and efficient. Everyone was incredibly polite! The decor is welcoming. What a fabulous place! If I lived in Vegas, I'd come here ALL the time.

Got the sweet n sour chicken and it almost brought tears to my eyes. It had been over 16 years since I last ate something like that. We also ordered the fried rice with chicken, shrimp and beef and the sexy vegan sushi roll. All amazing! Got to talk to Chef Kenny who was walking around talking to the guests, he was so nice and friendly. Even when we finished eating and had paid, there were people waiting for tables and they kindly implied us to leave in the most cordial way. I wish I could have had everything on the menu.

Chef Kenny's is a perfect blend of Asian cuisine with vegan flare. The staff was very warm, personable, and they took their time with us being it was our first time. The wife(my beautiful Amazon Goddess) had vegan shrimp pad Thai and I had the vegan orange chicken (could not tell it was vegan) the flavors and textures were right on point. Chef Kenny introduced himself, such a humble and genuinely great person, he makes you feel right at home. The vegan sushi was refreshing, flavorful, and delicious. They close from 3:30-4:30 daily but the food is sooo DAMN good it's not a big deal to wait. Def will be a returning customer ????????????????
