El Pollito Charro

This is a nice neighborhood Mexican that specializes in char grilled chicken. I had the #5 at $6.95+tax which includes a thigh and leg, 1 side, roasted jalapeno and rice, chips, tortillas.

The chicken didn't look that fantastic but IMHO tasted much better than El Pollo Loco. They were delish with a great char grilled flavor, finger licking good. I especially liked the side of beans almost in a soup form with bits of bacon and sausages, really yummy.

Service was friendly though the meal took a little bit time to prepare.

Service was wonderful, fast and friendly! Whatever that green sauce is that they give you with your chips is to DIE for. Food came out cooked and presented perfectly. The restaurant itself was extremely clean, in all aspects. It's quiet enough, but has music playing so it's not dead quiet. I'll definitely be coming back soon.

The food is delicious. Service was quick, the salsa that comes with the chips is flavorful spicy, not spicy just for the sake of spice (my 2 year old loved it, too). I got the al pastor, and oh my God. The first bite told me that we would be coming back very soon. The cheese on the quesadillas is very stringy when melted, which is the best kind. My son normally doesnt eat a lot of quesadillas, but he ate this one with no issues. My husband wishes he got the chicken, I just wish they had delivery options

Great Service , Quality and a Delicioso flavor

My mom and l had wanted to find some authentic Mexican food since l came to visit and turns out it's been right down the block all along, El Pollito Charro. We shared the whole chicken dinner (pollo entero) with beans, rice and tortillas. The chicken was moist and delicious and everything was excellent. We had it to go, but you can also sit in the restaurant which was inviting and very clean. My only regret is that l didn't find this place sooner
