I spent my Thanksgiving in Vegas at the Oyo Hooters 2019. Everyone in my group left the day off Thanksgiving and I had the red eye out that night. I spent the first half of the day at the OYO bar with the unbelievably friendly bar keep, saying my goodbyes to old friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Slowly everyone left until I was the last man standing. I played video poker and drank for free all morning and decided it would be a great idea to have Hooters for Thanksgiving dinner, as they had a pretty good special listed and I was feeling to good to care otherwise. Again alone, I ventured over to Hooters and was surprised to see there was a healthy crowd in the bar. I was sat and served promptly by a awesome server whom I really wish I could remember her name to drop here for some kudos! I knew what wanted and my order was immediately placed. After my order I did think to myself, oh boy what have I gotten myself into? And began texting family and notifying them of my location for Thanksgiving dinner. As they simultaneously sat for their Thanksgiving dinner, they all had a very good chuckle to know that I was in the hands of Hooters! Alas, my food was served, hot and fast! I was expecting a normal sized plate of food to be presented to me and, low and behold, a fresh salad, large platter of food and a tasty pumpkin cheesecake dessert is placed in front of me. I devoured the entire meal and record time shortly after taking a few photos to send to my family and apparently post here one day. Maybe I wouldn't plan my Thanksgiving at Hooters but, if I ever do find myself stuck in Vegas on Thanksgiving again, I will be back for round two! Thanks for the memory!

I've been coming here for years, but this is the first time I came when it wasn't a Hooters Casino. The remodeling actually makes it much nicer in the rooms. I also like the parking situation, and you can easily walk to the main strip. What I didn't like this time is I arrived about 1:45PM from Palm Desert and I was tired from driving. They said I had to pay $20 to check in early. If I wasn't so tired I would have waited. But, I was very tired and just paid up the $20 fee. I still like this place and would consider staying here again if I want to be in this area of Las Vegas. I don't like their high resort fee though, especially since the pool was usually closed because of the weather. If they ever get rid of free parking, I will never stay again. I avoid hotels in Las Vegas that want to charge for parking.

You can't beat the prices. Food and gambling are affordable, the rooms are nice and open. Staff was friendly, but we really didn't have any problems so I don't have a good idea about customer service. I would stay again. 5 minute walk to the strip. 2 minute walk to MGM.

There are several things that could be improved. They could have a contract with Globe parking so people who are going out of town & return to stay at OYO another night would have to leave their car at the airport. Also, the slot machines are very tight & I think there should be a Veterans night that they could get some free play.
Other than that the rooms are very nice for the price. See you on March 1, 2020.
Until then have a good day.

Well my tight schedule did not allow me to go there. I just saw their Hooter Girls ads inside the hotel elevator, which look great. Presumably that's their selling point. Later I also saw the order menu inside my hotel room, but not sure whether the food will also be delivered by Hooter Girls. Hopefully yes, otherwise what's the (selling) point? :-)
