AMAZING ramen, fantastic service, and tasty asahi draft beer all culminate for an incredible experience that one will never forget!
The more often I go, the more I like it. Because I have one place I’d give a full 5-stars, I find that I have to give KoKoRo 4.5 stars — and am marking it as 4-stars only to make that clear.
For the price, the portions are on the smaller end, but the soups are really rich and the noodles are good. Their usage of black garlic is unique, and being able to have delicious shishito peppers before the ramen is actually a selling point for us.
Pictured here is the black garlic ramen - ordered with thick noodles and “extra spicy.” If you like spicy, go and demand “extra extra spicy,” and insist you can handle the spice or else it’s a milder version. I’m basically top tier when it comes to spice, but one time, the chef actually believed me and proceeded to bring about my demise.
IT WAS WONDERFUL. ????
Very flavorful ramen -- perfectly cooked noodles. The Tonkotsu was really delicious. Quaint atmosphere, fresh-tasting ingredients, fair price, good service. All came together for a good experience. Also, they have a chicken mayo bowl that my kids love!
A nice spot right near the freeway. The decor is the same as most ramen locations. The menu had some variety. You are able to choose between thin or thick noodles. The Midori Basil Ramen was awesome!
