Friendly staff, Devon was our waiter who provided excellent service. He was knowledgeable and answered our questions.
Flavor of meats was almost perfect. Brisket, chicken, pulled pork and smoked sausage 😋 fries, mac n cheese and coleslaw were good too.
The young lady at the pork rinds counter was Friendly and asked if we enjoyed our meal and asked us what we ate.
Stopped in today after driving by a million times. Was not disappointed. The ribs literally fell off the bones and the brisket was great as well. I got three sides, creamed corn, collard greens and Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was definitely the stand out but everything was good! They had a few BBQ sauces on the table and I liked the spicy one the best. Devon was my server and he was attentive and offered suggestions. I will definitely recommend this place and will return. Thanks for a great early dinner
Stopping here was on a whim, considering the fact that is the same place that used to be Memphis championship barbecue. But I'm glad we stopped. The food was awesome, and the staff was so friendly it was like being at home. They have a sweet apple tea that was just perfect. Decent priced menu too.
Food was okay, service was good. I had a lunch platter with two meats and a side. I had brisket, pulled pork and mac and cheese. The brisket was okay, nothing stands out, pulled pork had the better flavor, mac and cheese wasn't anything write home about. The BBQ sauces I tried were the regular Texas and spicy BBQ sauce, and both were pretty average. I couldn't tell I had a spicy BBQ sauce or the regular BBQ sauce. I also tried the bread pudding, it was good, and could be shared between a couple since its big enough. The food makes this a 2.5 stars, but the quick and efficient service makes this place a 3 stars. Would I want to come back, maybe, but I would not be against it.
Such great food. The brisket was juicy and delicious, the sausage was very flavorful, the mashed potatoes and gravy were amazing, and the mac and cheese was great. I also tried a bite of their beans and they were very good, too. They have the best fried pickles I have ever had! So much so that I went back the following week to get some to go.
The service was great, too. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. And one of the owners was walking around keeping an eye on things while we were there. That was really cool; it shows he really cares.
Great experience here. Highly recommend!
