Mama Bird Southern Kitchen

Came here while on a trip. Food was amazing. The grits were soooo yummy. My son loved the scrambled eggs with cheese. I also tried the jalapeno ginger beer, boy that makes you feel alive! Ordered the humming bird cake too, I can only imagine how yummy that was! I ended up giving it as a gift for someone. Food took a little bit longer than usual but quality food isn't made hastily. I personally think it's good for us all to slow down a little bit and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

If you enjoy delicious food, trying adventurous ginger beer. This is a must stop.

I went to Mama Bird’s Southern Kitchen for a nice morning breakfast. The staff was very kind and allowed us to enjoy our breakfast. I ordered the Chicken and waffles that included eggs and a piece of watermelon. Both of these items were unexpected for what I payed. The service was extremely fast and the food was good. Overall this restaurant was good and I would recommend it to anyone else needing a place to go for breakfast.

We decided to have Christmas dinner catered this year for the 1st time ever. Let me tell you... BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE!! FOOD was AMAZING AND PERFECT! We had the Turkey feast and fed everyone with leftovers to spare. I can not thank Zac and Ryan enough for making this happen. You guys are the best!!

Came here for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Loved the decor of the restaurant! We had to get the fried chicken, it was crispy, juicy and full of flavors! We also tried the watermelon lemonade and it was so refreshing. They do have an extensive menu so will come back next time to try something else!

Customer service is great. You are informed as soon as you walk in that this is a self service restaurant but really if you want water, you get it yourself and if you want refills on soda or tea, you go up and ask. The food was good. I'm from AL so I know good Southern food. The chicken from the chicken and waffle was moist, juicy and seasoned well but topped with powdered sugar. Mac n Cheese was good as well just topped with saltine crackers. The biscuits were good too just topped with a seasoning I didn't recognize (peppered). Ribs and briskets were delicious. All n all the food is good; I just didn't care for the different toppings. We ordered mac n cheese to go and they were nice and left off the crackers this time. I will be a repeat customer! Great customer means a lot to me.
