Pei Wei Asian Diner

Among the offerings at this airport, Pei Wei is one of the few places where the food is made fresh to order. Offerings include Americanized Asian food at ridiculous airport prices. Still though, being able to get food that hasn’t been sitting under a heat lamp is a rarity at an airport, so this is above par with the rest. The chow mein and teriyaki chicken are too solid options. Lettuce wraps are good too.

The food at this airport stop is flavorful, but the cleanliness of the place is questionable. Tables are not cleaned between guests. People have to push dirty dishes aside to sit and eat. I get it - it’s airport food, but you still want to eat in a clean environment.

For airport food this was really good. I have never had anything but American style Chinese food in airport. These had there own spices and tastes to it. Plus they had some good breakfast Chinese style food. We did get there while it had just opened and it wasn’t busy. Same time we had time to kill so didn’t really pay attention to how long it took. Maybe if you have a flight to catch really quick don’t do it as it seems to be more of sit down and eat. If I see this place at any other airport defiantly going to stop and eat.

The food could have more taste. You can’t get a drink for less than $5. Beer is $9 including tax. The good is that it is self service so no tip is expected. Chargers are next to every table. If The food felt heavy but filled me up.
