Piezanos Pizza and More

When I saw a new restaurant was opening that had pastrami chili cheese fries, I immediately told my boyfriend, who is from cali. As previously stated by other reviewers, the art on the wall and the cleanliness of the restaurant were great but when we went there was only one worker who both took the order and made the food. I ordered the piezano burger combo and my boyfriend got a large order of pastrami chili cheese fries. We got in the car and everything smelled and looked delicious; we were so excited to get home. But this is, unfortunately, where the disappointment set in. The fries with the burger were hot and crispy on the outside but they were not cooked all the way through, if that makes sense. I then took a bite of the burger and there was no seasoning on the patty and there was supposed to be a piezano sauce on it but there was only Mayo, provolone cheese, lettuce and grilled onions none of which did anything for the unseasoned patty. My boyfriend then took one bite of his chili cheese fries and immediately rejected it because, again, the fries were not done and the chili tasted like it came straight from the can. We debated just throwing it away and going somewhere else but decided to take the food back. The one lady working was very apologetic and said she’s been having issues with the fryer where the grease was getting too hot but was taking an hour to cook chicken… umm ok? Because she was the only one, I didn’t want to go in about the burger. We just asked for a refund, which she provided sans the tip (and that’s fine because she still did all the work) but overall we were really disappointed :(

Mood- Pastrami

With the rising costs of petrol I have to pick and choose my destinations of choice. Meaning I have to depend on my selections here in Vegas opposed to going to " The Hat" in California. So when I saw this place was opening I had to try it.

Upon entering there was a little line going. They are still brand new so the family in front of me, was there for the items that were listed on the outside marker of the building that reflected the previous business. The menu is listed overhead. You pay at the counter, find seating, and it is brought out to you.

I of course opted for the Cali Pastrami Combo. This came with fresh crisp fries and a drink. My Pastrami was not skimpy. The Pastrami def satisfied my cravings until I can make it out to Cali.

Interior is several table and chair arrangements. While I was there they are still in the process of creating the murals that adorn both walls. It is truly a conversation piece. Everything was very clean. There is a TV on the wall and music was playing in the background.

Would recommend - pricing in my opinion was reasonable. Staff were very hospitable and courteous. I want to go back and try their Pastrami Fries. I have already started to plot and plan my adventure

Great local spot for pizza, wings and pastrami! Located right off the 95 on Jones, this pizza joint is accessible, clean and well laid out. Love the street art all over the walls, brings a fun, fresh, urban ambiance to the environment. We came in for the official opening and tried the chili cheese pastrami fries and pastrami coleslaw sammie. Incredibly generous portions, served piping hot! The fries were crisp and smothered in a mild chili that was flavorful and meaty. The sandwich was a surprise hit! The juxtaposition of the cool, creamy coleslaw topping hot shaved pastrami on a bread roll was the perfect balance. Would absolutely recommend, this spot hits all the right notes!

Cool spot. Got me the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and fries. The workers were super nice. Cool art work to look at. Definitely coming again when Im in Vegas.
