Better than your average Irish pub experience. Food was prompt and hot. The Irish wings are as good as they get on quality; fresh taste and large in size. Fish and chips delight the appetite with flavor and generous fish portion. Ask for Wally, he's the barman you want with the perfect Guinness pour too!. Cheerful, helpful and full of local knowledge.
This place does not disappoint! We had a very friendly server, the food was delicious, and the variety of drinks was good. I got fish and chips and the breading was perfect! Crispy but so light. And the fish was huge! It almost didn't fit on the plate. Everyone was very happy with our meal here, definitely recommend.
Service was quick. Prices were great except for the corned beef wontons... they tasted great wonton... $15 for 5 is a little pricey. The ambiance is nice... laid back with a slight upscale feel, but you don't need to dress up. I can really appreciate this place and will keep it in the "arsenal" of "to do again". Located in Mandalay Bay. We ordered Sheppard's pie (I had plenty to take home for lunch the next day), pub burger, and fish n chips (the portion was huge!). Fries are homemade as was the mashed potatoes.
Food was okay. I got the corned beef and it wasn't anything special. The serving wasn't even that much for a $20 meal. My brother got the bangers and mash and tried it and wasn't impressed either. I've tried better at a local Irish pub. The reuben sandwich my boyfriend got, however, was pretty damn good! Irish car bombs at this place are 15 dollars a piece and you can get it downtown for $5-7. Service was all right, but I did like how the people who came in were very friendly; It seems like the guests coming in were happier than the employees themselves. The employees didn't seem that happy to be working there, but maybe it was just a long day? The only thing I actually liked about the place was how big it was. There were 3 hugs rooms to get to!
Happy hour was the way to go. There was only a 15 minute wait and 50% off appetizers. Inexpensive but good eats. The wings were a decent potion size. I had the chicken curry, which could have easily been shared by two people. Liked the cozy atmosphere and courteous wait staff. No live music during the end of happy hour. If you’re going for the music experience, I would expect you need to call ahead and request seating in that area. The stage area is in a less spacious area.
