This was our first time and it was good. Not our favorite, yet good. The sauces are okay. Crab legs were nice size, shrimp could have been cooked longer. We will try again
Pleasantly surprised at the amazing flavors and unique sauces they offer here. I think I'm gonna need to come back again to try more things.
Got the oysters Rockefeller and they were amazing and the lime butter with cilantro was nothing I've tasted before. Excellent.
I also got the crab cakes. I typically don't like deep fried crab cakes it's a bad sign to order crab cakes and get deep fried because it means they prefer frozen over fresh and in a seafood place, this is not the kind of preference you want. But I was a little surprised at the quality of crab meat inside these little wafer sized medallions. I would still like to see them possibly upgrade to house made fresh crab cakes later down the road but these are a very close second.
I also didn't know this was a franchise company. First time I've seen them but as a west coast local, I don't typically make it out to anywhere else (lately). I'll keep my eyes open for others.
I had a great visit enjoying the flavorful seafood! Options are to get a combination or do a la carte, which is what I selected. I ordered the head off shrimp and it came with potato, boiled egg and corn. My next choice was to pick the flavor and I chose the traditional Cajun, which was really yummy as it was not spicy and complimented the seafood perfectly. When the order arrived, it came in a large plastic bag that I was able to fold open. The server included plastic bibs to wear and plastic gloves that looked like mittens. It was actually very clever as it kept my hands clean and I could easily pick up the food and eat it. Plus, peeling the shrimp was super simple with the gloves. There were plenty as these got dirty, for me to exchange them. It's the first time I've had a seafood boil and I'm really looking forward to coming back and trying the other options as well!
Great seafood place, and I’m picky about my crab legs. This is the first time I had noodles with a seafood boil, and it’s a great combo with the Cajun sauce they have here. The king crabs are really delicious, and the fried catfish basket came out crispy on the outside and soft and yummy on the inside. Coming back!
