The Yummy Crab

Just happened to see the sign as we were looking for a place to eat before heading to the airport. We didn’t know what to expect, but this restaurant is very appropriately named! Everything was delicious, and our waitress was very nice and attentive. We’ll certainly go back next time we are in Vegas!

The customer service and ambiance was great. But the food wasn’t the best. We ordered catfish with Cajun fries and corn on the side. The Cajun fries were nothing but spice and pepper. We kept wanting to finish them but couldn’t. Our mouths were both on fire and not in a good way. So we couldn’t really taste the rest of the food.

What makes this place great, or should I say "who" makes this place great, is Juli. The Cashier/Server that runs the dining room and takes orders. She's amazing. Tentative. Thorough. And genuinely a sweetheart. She is gonna go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. You will know exactly who she is right when you walk in because she is going to greet you right away and make you feel welcomed. The food here is great. The fried catfish is almost perfect. Fried perfectly and flavored just right. Didnt really care too much for the fries is my only complaint. But the fried shrimp was also very tasty. There are some Asian people that cook the food in the back. So I am assuming that they are the owners. And I believe that they're best investment in this restaurant is hiring Juli. I hope they realize that and give that girl a raise before she realizes what she's worth or another company does. Lol
