Tonkatsu Kiyoshi

Finally a place that serves great pork katsu.. Food was great! Service was awesome! Definitely a go to place. Only nitpick was that my miso was warm and got cold really quick but that's just me...

Ordered the Tonkatsu Curry because A LOT of people were eating it and I wanted to try. I can now conclude I am not a Japanese Curry person - Thai curry and Indian curry have more flavor. However, it was very well cooked and I would give the food 5 stars! It is quite a small place even though it is ALWAYS packed, so you will have to wait for 15 or more minutes. Every time a table is cleared, in less than a minute, another group appears!
The blinds are quite dusty and I guess the place needs to be cleaned, too.

Best Tonkatsu I've had. In a league of it's own. The meat is so tender and cooked perfectly. The accompaniments take the meal to the next level.

Get the fried Spam Masubi you won't be disappointed, great service and even better food.

We have tried the pork, pork and shrimp combo, and the curry! All very good, I like to keep it simple with just the pork. Very filling too. The katsu sauce is there on the table for you to use however much you like. Friendly smiling service too, makes me happy.
