Visiting from Orlando I have to say I had high expectations and they met every single one. As a chef I can say fantastic meal. The chefs and staff. Thank you so much for the excellent dinner. I will be back. Keep up the amazing work.

I was very excited to try WAKUDA given my love of Japanese cuisine and fusion restaurants - and for the most part it did not disappoint and I'm coming back next time I'm in Las Vegas.
It was a bit more expensive given the varying portion sizes than we were expecting. It felt family style however the servings came in sizes of 5, 4, 2,.. it made trying and sharing awkward - who gets the outlier piece? Oh, we should have ordered a double serving.. etc..
That said the food, service, and sake were all wonderful and we didn't regret what we spent. I sincerely want to come back to try the $300 chef's menu tasting as everything we had was delicious. The most appetizing was the chicken, it was crazy delicious, crispy and moist. I could have just kept ordering that. The Wagu was exactly as I described it should be, meat that is pretending to be butter and just melts in your mouth. Hah.
The only thing that was disappointing was dessert - not that their dessert isn't good but having been to Japan, I really was hoping for something more, maybe mini parfaits/anmitsu with fruit (like strawberries), coffee/matcha jelly, or wagashi. The options felt too Americanized/basic to round out the rest of the menu.
Dinner was overall a wonderful experience - we just got desert elsewhere.

Such an elevated experience in this restaurant, I stayed in the intimate lounge to try their signature cocktail Stone, Water, Plants with
    Roku Gin, Shiso, Lemongrass,
    Basil, Cucumber, Green Tea, Tonic.
As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Kim and her welcoming smile. The bartenders were also extremely nice and friendly.
There is crazy Japanese art on the walls and inside the restaurant. The patio was open at night, a bit noisy with music and right on the strip but super pretty.

    Delightful, refreshing and fun experience.

Located just to the left of the hotel check in lobby of the Palazzo Hotel.

I came here for the first time for a birthday and decided to do the tasting which included 9 courses. With the exception of only one of the items we were served, everything was delicious, tasted very fresh, and was full of flavors that reawakened my taste buds. More than one dish made my eyes open wide and everything was made and cooked perfectly. All of the servers are very knowledgeable as well and take the time to explain what’s being served, where it’s from, and the reason for some of the ways things are done.

Overall, I highly recommend Wakuda as I think it stands out and will leave a lasting impression on anyone. All of the pictures I posted don’t do justice and have to experience for yourself. Great atmosphere too!
