Not a Dog Friendly Marina!!
My experience with the staff was excellent minus one bad apple, ( Mark)who’s not dog friendly at all. We were celebrating my friends promotion at Facebook and rented a boat for half of day. We had an emotional support dog included in our party. For starters, when my friend approached the marina, (Mark) was trying to deter him away because he mentioned, Dogs aren’t allowed. When we approached the counter you could hear Mark on the radio saying people were complaining on the beach about the dog even though he was there less than 2 minutes, once an employee told him we had paperwork regarding the dog (diesel) being an emotional support animal, he said it depends on what type of emotional support dog which I find to be absurd. Nevertheless, we made it on the boat. We ran late coming back by 40 minutes and this one individual (Mark) was super rude and insisted we rush off the boat even though I offered to pay extra for the time and called an hour in advance to say we would be late. I try to assume good intent in everyone but being rude to paying customers is unacceptable. Again, the remainder of the staff was excellent. My advice is to keep the friendly staff customer facing and move Mark to detailing boats. Overall, this place is absolutely beautiful and they have well maintained boats for rent. My rating would have been excellent but you blew it Mark.
