What an awesome pizza place! Great little arcade, too, new games, and nothing costs more than $1.00 to play, unlike the huge arcade in town that uses a card system and charges you random amounts ($2.15 or $1.89) to play a game.
My family’s experience at the Pizza Barn was good. The food arrived pretty quick, was yummy and hot on delivery. Getting drink refills was a bit of a challenge and became a point of frustration.
The clean bathroom was a pleasant bonus.
I placed an online order on Friday night. The online system is super easy to use! I arrived before my pick-up time and my order was ready. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean! The pizza and wings are the best in town! My entire family loves it! Even my 1 year olds!
Pizza Barn has been a long time Elko business. I have fond memories of eating there in my teens. However...
This is a 2023 review.
The Pizza is Mid. There is no flavor, dough/crust tastes cheap and bland. The red-sauce seems watered down and diluted. The cheese is obviously store-bought shredded mix.
Again, BLAND. No flavor. Mediocre. Milk-toast.
Establishment is still mostly the same aesthetically except nobody cleans the floor or tables. Staff seems lazy and incompotent.
You'd be better off getting Domino's or even better, Papa Murphy's. Take and bake. Pizza Barn lost it.
Elko is a town of about 20,000 folks and only has a hall dozen places to get pizza. Pizza Barn is one of those. It reminds me of a pizza place back in Phoenix, AZ called Cici’s except the Barn doesn’t have a buffet. When you enter you have to place your order at the counter. When you order is ready, they call your number and you have to go to the counter to retrieve it, your plates, plastic utensils and extras if you want red pepper or Parmesan cheese. There are two locations with video and arcade games. We ordered a 10” chicken pesto pizza which costs over $20. They have a small “salad bar” which is $4-6 extra. That being said, the pizza was done well with a crispy crust and plenty of toppings. All in all, if I were to eat again at the Pizza Barn, I’d do take out.
