Rolberto's Mexican Food

Terrific food! Service is good, just be patient because when it gets busy so do they, which means you will be waiting for a little bit. Open 24 hours and decent but slightly high prices. It works though, being one of the very few places to be open all day and night.

This was definitely not autentica comida mexicana by any stretch. First, the place was noisy and crowded with other people standing in line to order. We ordered our food and waited and waited. After waiting over 15 minutes the cashier motioned to me to pick up our tray of food. The food looked great but the taste was disappointing. I ordered the carnitas combination plate with a side of rice and beans. Like most other fast food Mexican taquerias, there just wasn't enough fresh vegetables such as cabbage and tomatoes to overcome the heaviness of the refried beans and meat. The carnitas tasted dry, bland and chewy. I smothered it with salsa from the salsa bar but even that didn't help much.
