The Star Hotel Basque Dining

It's a locals favorite and the best place in town for real Basque Cowboy steaks. The cabbage soup they serve with each meal is unique, healthy, and something you think about a week later. The prices are excellent as well.

Great food and company! We went lunch here during Cowboy Poetry and they did an amazing job getting the food out hot and ready so we can get back to watching! Many of the entertainers were seen there as well, they obviously know good food!

The food was outstanding. I ordered the Buffalo filet and a captain and coke. The cabbage soup they bring out was amazing. A little salt and it was on point. The salad came next and was great. The entree came with pasta, beans, and French fries. The steak was cooked to perfection with garlic slices and onions on top. Highly recommended and will return. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Dinner here is legendary. Huge portions, so you will need to starve yourself before your visit, but the quality is excellent. A local hangout for drinks after work hours. I had the lamb (with garlic), but the photo doesn't show the cabbage soup, bread and salad which came before the main course. I had no room for desert.
