We ordered taco salads with chicken, tacos with ground beef and nachos. They were all very tasty and the salad was a good sized. The tacos are street tacos, so they're double tortillas and are kind of small, but full of meat. Overall, a very good value, and on top of the the staff was friendly and helpful. I can see going back the next time I'm in town for sure.
This is a VERY good restaurant! The service was prompt and with a smile!=) surprised the diablo chicken was on point, and some of the best I have had in my travels. This place got the heat right and real! Even the salsa had great flavor and fire!!! This place earned #nofeardining enjoy!
Was very good. Had a burrito and it was huge. Rice and beans good too. Had a Corona to wash it down. Returned today for taco Tuesday. Six simple tacos. People came in after me and somehow got their orders first. I genuinely think they forgot about me. Food was still pretty good for $1.00 tacos. Service lacked even though waitress was very friendly at the end. Still tipped 25%. Had an ice cold pacifico.
Liked the salsa. Just the right amount of heat. Combo plate #5 was very good. Especially the chili relleno. Hubby’s chicken burrito was disappointing. We asked for red sauce to add and that helped. My Margarita was good. A busy place which is a good sign. Had the fried ice cream. It’s not fried, just rolled in crushed cereal. But it had ice cream so was good. Not a bad place for a quick meal but not great. Clean, good service. Liked the picture of Frieda so gave the place a 4th star!
This place is a lot better than the one across the street from it. The salsa is very spicy and good. I have traveled from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast and I've lived almost every state in between and I can say that it is one of the realist Mexican restaurants I have been to. The rice and beans were very good. I had beef enchiladas, the beef was a little dry, but besides that everything else was great! The service was good and the food came out fast.
